Purpose: The NJAPPA Scholarship program awards scholarships to facilities professionals based on demonstrated financial need and an expressed interest in pursuing professional development.
Criteria: The facilities professionals eligible for assistance must be employed at a NJ educational institution, have been in the field of educational facilities for a minimum of 2 years, in a supervisor level or higher with decision making authority, and have not received a NJAPPA scholarship to any event in the past 3 years. Applicants must submit a scholarship application on the form provided by NJAPPA. Applicants must receive an approval signature from their supervisor prior to submitting final paperwork to NJAPPA.
Guidelines: A minimum of five (5) Scholarships will be awarded for the registration fee to the conference and two nights of lodging. Scholarships will be awarded to applicants meeting qualifications on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. A maximum of two (2) scholarships may be awarded per institution. Travel and other expenses are the responsibility of the institution or attendee and are not included in the Scholarship award.
Amount: Each scholarship awarded will be entitled to free registration and two nights of hotel accommodations charged to the master NJAPPA account.
Deadline: This application deadline is February 1st 2024. Recipients will be notified on a first come, first served basis.
